Jill believes that by providing a non-competitive atmosphere where each child can embrace their unique talents and attain self-esteem, they will also gain priceless life lessons; respect for adult mentors, support of fellow classmates, self-discipline and an appreciation for one of the fine arts to name a few. Because dance is a performance art, Jill strongly believes in providing her students an opportunity to put into practice what they are learning. All students showcase their talents in the annual end-of-year program presented on the stage of The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston. These productions include unique dance versions of children favorites including: “Peter Pan,” “Alice in Wonderland,” “Wizard of Oz,” and “Pinocchio.”The shows are presented with a sense of integrity and professionalism drawing rave reviews as being fun, entertaining and fast-moving even from the harshest critics-dads and brothers!
